Tutoring Services Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
Welcome to Influential Initiatives LLC! These Terms and Conditions outline the policies governing our tutoring services. By enrolling in our tutoring programs, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Services Provided
Influential Initiatives LLC offers academic tutoring, test preparation, and college prep for students in grades K-12. Sessions may be conducted in person or online, based on availability.

3. Scheduling and Cancellations

  • Sessions must be scheduled monthly unless otherwise agreed upon by tutor and client.

  • Hours for current availability will be expressed by tutor at the beginning of each month.

  • Cancellations require at least 12 hours' notice to avoid a cancellation fee.

  • No-shows or cancellations within 12 hours may result in a charge for 75% of the session fee.

  • Rescheduling is subject to tutor availability.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is required before time of service, by the 1st of the month. If payments in full cannot be rendered, then 50% will be required up front, followed by the rest of the payments being due the week of sessions. Payment plans will be negotiated and agreed upon by the tutor and client.

  • We accept payments via cash, credit/debit card, or electronic transfer.

  • Late payments with no communication will result in suspension of services until payment is received.

  • No refunds will be provided for completed tutoring sessions.

5. Student Expectations

  • Students are expected to come prepared with necessary materials (textbooks, assignments, etc.).

  • Active participation and a positive attitude are encouraged for the best learning experience.

  • Any disruptive behavior may result in termination of services without refund.

6. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

  • Parents/Guardians must ensure timely arrival and pickup for in-person sessions.

  • Supervision is required for younger students during online sessions.

  • Communication regarding student progress or concerns is encouraged.

7. Confidentiality
All student information, including academic performance and personal details, will be kept confidential. We will not share personal data without written consent, except as required by law.

8. Liability Waiver
While we strive to provide high-quality tutoring services, Influential Initiatives LLC is not responsible for academic outcomes or grades. Parents/guardians and students acknowledge that learning progress depends on multiple factors, including effort and practice outside of sessions.

9. Termination of Services

  • Either party may terminate tutoring services with prior notice.

  • Refunds will not be issued for prepaid but unused sessions unless otherwise agreed upon.

10. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.

By engaging in our tutoring services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Influential Initiatives LLC! These Terms and Conditions outline the policies governing our adult coaching, professional development, and educational services. By enrolling in our programs, you agree to comply with the following terms.

2. Services Provided

Influential Initiatives LLC offers adult-focused services, including career development coaching, personal development workshops, test preparation, and technical training. Sessions may be delivered in person, virtually, or in a hybrid format, depending on client preference and availability.

3. Scheduling and Cancellations

  • Sessions must be scheduled in advance on a monthly or program-based timeline unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  • Availability will be communicated at the beginning of each month or program cycle.

  • Cancellations require a minimum of 12 hours' notice to avoid incurring a cancellation fee.

  • No-shows or cancellations made within 12 hours of a scheduled session may result in a charge of 75% of the session fee.

  • Rescheduling is not guaranteed and is subject to availability.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due prior to the first scheduled session of the month or program, unless an alternative payment plan is arranged and agreed upon in writing.

  • If full payment cannot be made upfront, a minimum of 25% is required before the first session, with the remainder due no later than the week of subsequent sessions. If a client requests a project, a minimum of 25% is required before work begins, with payment plans being followed.

  • Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit card, or electronic transfer.

  • Services will be paused for late payments with no prior communication.

  • No refunds will be issued for services already rendered.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients are expected to arrive on time and come prepared with required materials or completed assignments. Clients are also expected to deliver all necessary material for project completion in a timely fashion.

  • Active engagement and professionalism are expected to ensure a productive coaching relationship.

  • Repeated disruptive behavior or failure to meet agreed-upon participation standards may result in termination of services without refund.

6. Communication & Engagement

  • Open communication is encouraged to support client progress.

  • Clients are welcome to provide feedback and request adjustments to their learning or development plans.

  • Any concerns should be addressed promptly via email or direct communication with the coach or instructor.

7. Confidentiality

All client information, including professional goals, assessment data, and personal details, will be kept confidential. No personal or performance information will be shared without written consent, except as required by law.

8. Liability Waiver

Influential Initiatives LLC makes every effort to deliver high-quality and actionable professional development. However, we do not guarantee specific career outcomes or certification results. Clients acknowledge that results depend on individual effort, consistency, and follow-through outside of scheduled sessions.

9. Termination of Services

  • Either party may terminate the agreement with reasonable written notice.

  • Refunds for unused, prepaid sessions are issued only in exceptional cases and at the discretion of Influential Initiatives LLC.

10. Amendments

Influential Initiatives LLC reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes in advance.
